Austin Athletic AKA now The Wolves have brought out what seems to be the pro-to type of the New Austin Athletic badge the clubs player/manager Richard Petre and team Charmian Francis Scott decided in a team meeting that there strip needed to follow there routes and come up with a badge and a nickname that would suit the football club and they agreed on " The Wolves " and " The Foxes " due to Lord Phillips who founded the club back in 1830. A spokesman for the club said we looked back through the record books and we have found that the gentleman who founded Austin Athletic which was Lord Austin Phillips use to breed foxes so that was what swung the decision the badge is still in it's early stages of development but word has leaked out around the Austin Athletic camp that the club strips could have the crest on by the beginning of next season. This is an exacting period for the club and everyone associated with Austin Athletic football club due to the overwhelming fact of the arrival of the new stadium. Austin Athletic have proved this season that they are to remain favorites with the pundits to grab the glory come the end of the season we have a small interview with player/manager Richard Petre.

[glow=red,2,300]Why did you decide to change the badge and nickname at this time?[/glow]
Well we decided that the club was already heading in the right direction on the field and we had money so the Charmian and me decided that building new facility's would be a wise investment for the club and supporters alike.
[glow=red,2,300]Why nickname yourself The Wolves after all there is already a team with that name somewhere Else's in Europe.[/glow]
Yes i am aware of that and thank you for mentioning that we decided to call ourselves the wolves because of the roots this club has in Fox hunting and breeding wolves. Some supporters call us the foxes and some call us the Wolves just depends what animal you like the best i suppose.
[glow=red,2,300]I have already been on a tour of your new stadium by your tour guide what do you hope this will do for you as European football is concerned.[/glow]
I think this maybe the tunning point we now have a ground good enough to grace the teams of Europe and we hope our lads on the pitch can do the business.
