It has been reported by Austin's official website that Austin Athletic are pumping out quality top youth players for the future and 5 new players will be.......
GK: Daniel kasabian DF: Joel Porter MF: Jay Jay Kotrap FO: Indigo Akinbiyi FO: Kenya-Tanzania
These 5 players are the lucky ones to be given a triel in the first team. There presence could be the diffrence for Austin Athletic who are seriously driffting away from 1st place they could be up nuts creek without a paddle.
The Championship winning Austin Athletic Reserves team are.....
GK: Daniel kasabian DR: Michael Thorn DC: Peter Ashford DC: Ryan Peters DL: Joel Porter MR: Frazier Wright MC: Jay Jay Kotrap MC: Thomas Laudrup ML: Nami Soma FO: Indigo Akinbiyi FO: Kenya-Tanzania

THE RESERVES BEAT THE FIRST TEAM!!!
Austin Athletic Reserves 3 Akinbiyi, 72 Laudrup, 85 Akinbiyi, 88
Vs Austin Athletic 2 Van Bonner, 3 Lopez, 71
Thats right from 2 nil down last night Austin Athletic completed an amazing turn around over 1st Team Austin Athletic. In the first half the 1st team had the skill and quality that shows why each and every player deserves to play first team football but the Reserves came back and played some football that proved why they won the Reserve league earlier this week. late goals from Laudrup and Akinbiyi, Indigo Akinbiyi one of the players chosen to play a period of time in the 1st Team squad was a very good talent as he ripped through the defense no player seemed to be able to catch him.
Match Report on selected players:
Daniel kasabian: Daniel was as solid as a rock in goal today the goals he conceded was due to bad defending and nothing else he's worth a place in the 1st Team without a doubt.
Joel Porter: This player lacks nothing determination, speed, willingness to win he has it all and he provided for me the highlight of the match tackling Austin Athletic captain Christian Wreh then sending a 30 yard ball down to Kenya-Tanzania i believe if trained correctly he could be the best in the world.
Jay Jay Kotrap: I dont believe i saw is true potential tonight he used his presence well and his speed but hindered by lack of experience in big games. That is not an issue due to him getting a place in my starting 11 soon.
Indigo Akinbiyi: Well i think this player can go on to be a major success story he has pace, cunningness and trickery which is a major factor what we are missing at the moment.
Kenya-Tanzania: This player is like Joel Porter he can make it on the worlds stage and will soon be on the score sheet in the real golden league not the reserves Golden league.
